We were able to enjoy having my Dad here for a few days. We love having company, especially grandparents. Dad really helped out while he was here... I think his favorite assignments were holding Kelsey and playing with the kids! We love Grandpa!

I'm SO Glad When Daddy Comes Home!

I LOVE this picture! Last night when Bart got home, the kids ran, as usual, to greet him. This time, he collected all of them into one, huge, spontaneous hug. We love our sweet Daddy!

Seaweed-Open Wide!!

The other night, Bart made super yummy Korean Bar-B-Q. SO GOOD! At the Korean market, along with the meat, Bart purchased some dried seaweed wraps. At dinner, he asked the kids if they wanted to try the seaweed (you wrap some meat, rice and lettuce in the seaweed). They all said yes and they ALL ended up having seconds, thirds and more of it. WOW! I couldn't believe it. I can't even stand the smell of the seaweed, let alone eat it. I was proud of them trying something new!

We had a great visit from Grandpa S. The kids loved having him here, of course. Grandpa S. had fun playing with the kids, holding Kelsey, pushing the kids on the swings at the park, taking them on walks, reading stories and just plain enjoying every minute with the grandkids! Thanks for coming!

The Pool

We haven't gone to the pool as much this summer (It's quite the project to get all 4 kids there and keep an eye on the oldest three while trying to keep Kelsey in the shade), but when we go, the kids LOVE it! Cole and Sadie are taking swimming lessons and have come really far! We are so proud of them!

Great Wolf Lodge

This past week, we spent a couple days down in Williamsburg. Our good friends had told us about The Great Wolf Lodge, which is a huge indoor waterpark, and we decided to try it out. The kids had a fabulous time! There were tons of slides and lots of different water features that they could play in. And, since it's only 6 miles from awesome outlet stores, Bart and I got to do some shopping. We had a fabulous couple of days!
