Hurricane Halloween

As I'm sure you know, we have had quite the weather the past few days. School and work were closed and as part of the fun of being together as a family, pumpkins were carved. Cole did his pumpkin completely on his own from start to finish. Sadie won the award for the cleanest inside of a pumpkin. Once that girl decides to do something, there is no stopping her! Seriously, you wouldn't believe the cleanliness of her pumpkins insides. :) Jayda wouldn't have anything to do with touching the guts of her pumpkin. It totally grossed her out. Kelsey pulled out a couple seeds and considered it done.

Happy Birthday, Bart!

We thoroughly enjoyed having Bart home on his birthday this year. Since he is usually at training for work, it's been several years since we've had him here on his special day. Bart works so hard for our family! We are SO grateful for all he does! The kids love their Dad!

Sweet Makenna is 1 month old! I can't believe it! We are so grateful to have her in our home. She has a sweet disposition, loves to sleep and loves being cuddled. We can't wait for her to start smiling!

Cute Picture

I just love the relationship between these two. Jayda and Kelsey are such buddies. Jayda loves to make sure they are wearing twinner clothes as often as possible. They entertain each other and get along really well. I'm so grateful for both of them!

Ms. Makenna

These pictures pretty much sum up Makenna's life right now. I can't believe how much she sleeps..even at 3 weeks old. I have to work really hard to wake her to eat. She is sleeping for 3 or 4 hour stretches at night, so I guess I can't complain to much! We loved having my Mom here to help and I had a healthy dose of reality when she left! Good thing for an amazing husband and great kids that are willing to help out their sleep deprived (and sometimes grumpy) wife and Mom! :)
