Visit!

We love to have visitors! Especially when Grandpas and Grandmas get to come! Last week, we really enjoyed a visit from my parents. The kids (and I, of course) loved having them around!

10 Months!

Our sweetie pie is growing up! Kelsey is getting closer to crawling... I'm actually enjoying her immobility because I know what is going to follow, once she decides to get her move on!!

Happy Birthday, Cole!

Cole had a great birthday! It's hard to believe he is 7. His day was made extra special by having Grandpa and Grandma Randall here and he got to take brownies to his class. We love Cole so much and are grateful he is part of our family!

We had ribs last night. Always delicious... always messy. Last time we had some mishaps, (those ribs can be slippery little suckers) so this time we opted to have the kids just take off their shirts before dinner was even served. That proved to be a good idea...

Bye Bye Sicknesses

After over a week of yuckiness at our house... starting with Kelsey, adding Jayda, followed by Cole... they have officially been diagnosed with 2 counts of Strep, 1 count of pneumonia and a double dose of ear infections. We are grateful for antibiotics and are looking forward to them kicking in so that we can get back to happy, noncrying kids and uninterrupted nighttime sleep.

Turning 5!!

Sadie is 5!! It's hard to believe! I can remember perfectly the day that she was born! It happened so quickly... Bart almost missed her birth. :) She is already counting down to Kindergarten in the fall! We love you, Sadie!!

Death by Heart Attack!

I got home late tonight... decided to roll the huge garbage cans down to the road tonight so that I didn't have to try and beat the garbage trucks early tomorrow morning. I took out a sack to put in the trash can... opened the lid and a huge raccoon jumped out at me!! Holy crap! I screamed (trying to do it quietly so I didn't wake up the kids) and jumped clear back. That darn thing just looked at me and didn't even move. I ran into the house and made Bart go out to finish with the trash. Good grief! I think 10 years just came off my life....
