Babysitters

How cute are these pictures? A couple weeks ago, we had the chance to babysit little L. What a doll! The girls could not get enough of her. I hardly had a chance to hold her while she was here. Jayda and Kelsey totally fought to have the chance to hold this precious little one. They did a great job keeping her happy and were fascinated with every sound L made. Too cute!

Valentine's Day Part 2

This Valentine's Day, we were lucky enough to have my parents come over. They were SUPER awesome and led the children in decorating cookies. They all had a great time! Lots of the cookies had more candy than cookie, but that is part of the fun!

Valentine's Day Part 1

Each year, Bart's Mom sends the kids a Valentine's Day package. They were SO excited to get it this year! They each got a new book and some treats. Thanks, Grandma S.!

Cushion Fun!

The other day, the younger girls took the cushions off the couch and jumped on them (and the couches) for hours! They thought it was such fun!

Wacky Hair Day!

Last week was Spirit Week at the kids' school. Cole and Sadie were most excited about doing crazy hair on Thursday. Bart did Cole's mohawk and Sadie wanted "more than 20" braids and ponytails. So, here they are!

Dressing Up!

It was pretty cute watching Jayda and Kelsey playing dress up together for over an hour. I took a couple of pics, but mostly just watched them have fun together!

Chinese New Year

For Chinese New Year, the 2nd graders at Cole's school make and paint a dragon for a parade. Then, they march around the whole school twice, singing and playing instruments.. marching in front of and coming behind the long dragon which is held by more of the 2nd graders. Cole was in charge of playing the "gong". He was pretty excited. The girls and I went to watch the parade. It was pretty impressive.
