Makenna loves sitting up! She gets a much better view of everything that is going on!

Makenna - 3 Months

Time is cruising, that is for sure! We love our sweet Makenna. She is starting to giggle...if she can keep from getting the hiccups in the process. Makenna was a champ at her 3 month photo shoot yesterday. She is a very happy baby, as long as she gets naps and is fed. We are grateful to have her in our family!

Visit From Grandma Stratton

We really loved having Grandma here. Four years was way to long between visits! We made the most of her week, going lots of places and doing fun things. I took her to get her first ever pedicure, which I think she is hooked on. :) We went to see the lights at the D.C. Temple, which were gorgeous! Grandma came with us to pick out our tree, we ate treats at the Heidelberg Bakery, lunched at La Madeleine, she played the piano for the grandkids and held the baby lots. I also introduced her to Home Goods and peppermint shakes at Chick Fillet. ;) I'm pretty sure she'll be back!

Christmas Tree!

We headed out again this year to get a tree from a farm. It wasn't as cold as last year and we got an awesome tree! We love it! It's a little shorter than we usually get, but it's super full and gorgeous!

Blessing Day

Last Sunday, Bart blessed our sweet Makenna. It was such a beautiful blessing. I'm so grateful that Bart has been able to bless each of our children. Bart's Mom was able to be here, which made it even more special. Makenna wore the same dress, booties and bracelet (homemade bracelet and booties curtesy of my sis Suzanne). We couldn't get even one smile out of Makenna for pictures, but she was still beautiful!
