Happy V Day!

The kids loved doing the sugar cookies this year!

Bart came through, as always, with some awesome surprises for Luv Day. He sent me to get a pedicure with a girlfriend on Saturday. Loved it! Then, in the mail, came a box of the most divine chocolates from the best place ever! Florence's Exquisite Candies in Rexburg, ID. If you haven't had 'em, you gotta get 'em! Love you, Sweetie!

Silly Kelsey

In between trying to break through 4 teeth at the same time, we can occasionally get Kelsey to still smile. Poor baby.
This is a picture of Kelsey eating Mixed Vegetables, which she loves. She took a huge bite, then proceeded to sneeze several times in a row. Nice. :)

Our sweet neighbor sent us some chocolate covered strawberries from Shari's Berries (divine). I was trying to hand them out to the older kids and Kelsey promptly took one from the box and stuffed it in her mouth! She's no dummy... she already is craving chocolate!

Monster Jam

It seems like going to Monster Jam has become a yearly Father/Son activity for Bart and Cole. Cole is still totally into monster trucks and absolutely loves going with his Dad to see them in action. This time they went with a bunch of dads and sons from our ward. They had fabulous seats... it was a good time to be had by all!

Kelsey

Kelsey has found her tongue and she loves sticking it out to the side. It even bends a little at the end. Super funny... I have an aunt and her whole family (4 kids and husband) all have double jointed tongues. You should see the tricks they can do. Maybe Kelsey inherited the same thing! :)

8 Months!!

Our little sweetie is 8 months old today! It seems like I was just posting her at 6 months. The time is flying by. Notice her tongue in one of the pictures... that is the star of an upcoming post! We love our darling Kelsey!

Big Storm=No Electricity

We had some heavy, wet snow come through Wednesday night, into Thursday morning. The power went out as Bart and I were heading to bed Wednesday night. We assumed that it would be back on in the morning. We assumed wrong! The house was freezing when we woke up, which was before 6 since Jayda woke up and started screaming because it was so dark (no night light). Needless to say, the whole house was up for the day! It took us until 11:30 to dig out our long driveway. By this time, it was warmer outside our house than inside, so we knew we needed to leave. We are so grateful for our great friends, the Hickmans. They invited us over so that our kids could take naps and we could all thaw out. Fortunately, our electricity was on by early evening! We were way luckier than some people around here who are still without power. With our loss of power came a list of things we need to buy to be better prepared for next time! :)

FHE Treat

The kids chose to buy a coconut for FHE treat this week, to try something new. They thought it was pretty awesome to watch Bart break it open, to be able to drink some of the milk and to munch on it.
