Cole Received Priesthood

We had a big weekend with Jayda getting baptized and Cole receiving the priesthood. His Grandpa Stratton and Uncle Jamey were able to be in the circle as well. Cole passed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and Bart said he did a fabulous job! We are so grateful for Cole....for the good boy that he is and the righteous decisions he is making.

Jayda's 8th Birthday and Baptism!

We are so grateful for this darling, happy girl! SO grateful she is part of our family! She had a fabulous birthday, had 3 out of 4 grandparents here, plus an aunt and uncle, and was baptized and confirmed by her Dad. It was a very special weekend.

Happy 12th, Cole!

This kid. I sure love him. I can't believe he is 12. We bought him his first suit and I started crying when he walked out, ready for church. This time of year is packed with birthdays (5 in 3 months) and holidays (including Easter and Mother's Day). It's a bit of a whirlwind...but, this year I have Cole turning 12 and Jayda turning 8. I'm not going to lie, it's been emotional. But, I'm grateful my kids are making good choices. I just can't believe how time is flying. Cole LOVES playing baseball (he about had a heart attack when he found out his team name was the Dodgers...Cole is a true blooded Angels fan), but he had loved his coach and team. He likes being outdoors, Mindcraft, playing with his friends and being with his Dad. He is a true joy to have in our home.

Happy 10th, Sadie!

Well, Sadie was super excited to turn double digits. Sadie is a super fun girl, hard worker in school, a roller skating master, always has her nose in a book, loves Activity Days and treats. She and Jayda shared a party this year. They both got roller skates for Christmas and wanted to party at the roller rink. So, we had their friends all come and it was a fabulous time!

San Diego

We had a great trip down to San Diego over the long weekend. We visited the remodeled Mormon Battalion, which was really neat! We played at the beach, saw the Temple and met my brother, Jesse's, family at Lego Land (pics to come). It was fabulous to spend time together as a family!

In January, we found some snow....not to far from our house! The kids loved it!

Christmas

I need to download some more pictures! These will have to do for now! We had a wonderful Christmas together. I love Bart being home between Christmas and New Year's. It was weird having it be warm instead of cold, but that is just one of many adjustments that we've had to make!
