When Cole was around 12-18 months, he was hardly eating anything. With some help, we finally figured out he had a major texture issue. Anyway, one of the things that we found that he loved that helped him get his protein was plain tofu. We would cut up little chunks and he ate it like candy. It always kind of grossed me out. :) Well, Jayda only had 2 two teeth, so a week or so ago, we were looking for ways for her to get some food that I didn't have to mash all the time. Since she has been like a girl version of Cole, we decided to try tofu. Guess what?! She loves it! So funny. (By the way, Cole wanted to try the tofu as I was cutting it up for Jayda. I didn't know if he would still like it, but he took a big bite, chewed, swallowed and exclaimed "This is delicious, Mom! Can I have more?!"
Monday Jayda finally broke through her third tooth! Finally! She has been way slower than the other two at teething. She got her top right front tooth. Yippee for Jayda!
Yesterday our tiny tot, Jayda, took her first step...three of them, in fact. She was standing a ways in front of me. I let go of her hand and she just stood there. I told her to come see Mommy and she took 3 steps before falling into my arms! I'm so proud of her!
