Cole

Gosh, we love this kid! SO proud of the young man that he is and all that he has overcome these last few months. It's been a very tough transition for him moving here and we are grateful for his hard work to come out of it happy! This community takes Scouting very seriously, which has been good. Here's picture of Cole in his uniform before the Court of Honor. Love you, Cole!

We love Fall.....

....although we are trying to get used to it not feeling or looking at all like the fall we are used to! The kids had fun carving pumpkins, participating in our ward's trunk-or-treat and going trick-or-treating. There is a street here that everyone told us we had to go to for trick-or-treating. It was crazy! There were hundreds of people there. Next year, Cole wants to go somewhere else...another neighborhood where he can get "real" candy and not just mints and mini tootsie rolls. :)

Happy 40th, Bart!

It's never fun to have to work on your birthday, but I think Bart had a pretty good day. Favorite breakfast, dinner and cake. His friends at work to him to lunch and surprised him with a singing telegram...a lady in a banana suit...hilarious! SO grateful for this wonderful man!

Disneyland

We decided to buy passes to Disneyland. I love how we can just park at Downtown Disney, go for a couple of hours, eat and leave....no paying for parking and no trying to fit everything into one day! We definitely had to go when it's decorated for Halloween! Super cute!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Makenna!!!

Makenna talked about her birthday for weeks before the actual day. She was SO excited to turn 3! Makenna is our little firecracker! She loves to play with her siblings; loves anything Frozen; loves to play dress-up, restaurant and school; she rides her scooter super fast; loves jumping on the tramp; LOVES playing tag with her Dad. We sure are grateful to have her in our home!!

First Day of School

Well, I don't know if any of us were excited about the starting of school this year....mostly because it seemed like we had just gotten out of school! And, the kids were starting over in a new school and none of them were very happy about that...except for Kelsey! She was SO excited to be starting Kindergarten! Cole-6th grade (still in elementary school), Sadie-4th, Jayda-2nd, Kelsey-Kindergarten. I love these kids! It's been a rocky 2 week start to school..here's hoping (and praying) that things get better!
M didn't want to let Kelsey go when it was time to say good-bye...

UT and Vegas

On the last leg of our trip back to CA, we stopped in Lehi to see our dear friend, Jodi. We've know n Jodi since we were newlyweds. We went to a super fun museum with her. The kids loved it! Then, we headed to Cedar City to see our sweet friend, Lorie, whom we knew in VA. She has since married and settled in UT, so it was fun to stop and visit with her. In Vegas, we saw the Bybees...we knew them in VA as well. It was fabulous to see their family and the kiddos loved the pool and big dogs! Thanks to those who took care of us on our way back to Southern CA!

Grant, ID

We spent a few more days with my parents, which we loved. Playing dress-ups, 4 wheeler rides, baseball, games, tramp place, visiting the I.F. Temple and Falls, Reed's Dairy and lots of cousin time! Jesse and his family stayed a couple of more days as well...with Jared and Dawn's families coming out for some fun. I sure love my family and am so grateful I was able to spend time with them this summer!

Jackson Hole, WY and Bar J

After sending Bart back to work in CA, we headed to Jackson Hole with my brother Jesse and his cute family. It was gorgeous! I haven't been to Jackson Hole since before getting married. We had dinner and fabulous entertainment at Bar J. The bass singer was something else. Fun times and super fun company!
