Happy 8th, Cole!!

I can't believe Cole is 8!! I'm pretty sure that I will always remember the day of Cole's birth and the circumstances surrounding it. Who wouldn't remember that they were told they were having a girl and out came a boy!! Talk about a surprise! But, what a wonderful surprise Cole has turned out to be. We sure love this boy and the addition that he is to our family! Cole has been counting down to this birthday and is super excited to be baptized in a couple weeks! We love you, bud!

This year, as a Christmas, birthday and everything in between package, Bart and I bought tickets for he and Cole to go to the Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas. We have friends that moved there last year and were gracious enough to host "the boys" as they headed out last week for their adventure. Pictures will come later, but I'm told (by both boys) that it was incredible, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that neither of them will ever forget!
