New Toy!!

Bart and I have been tossing around the idea to get a trampoline or not.... something else for the kids to do this summer when I'm huge and hot and not wanting to go outside to entertain them. :) A friend of ours from the ward is moving out of the country this week and we inherited their tramp! We are super excited! It was quite the process for Bart to take apart and reassemble the trampoline, but the kids, especially, are grateful for his hard work! Let the playtime (and injuries) begin!

Birthday Pictures By Bart

This year, instead of taking the kids to a studio for their birthday pictures, I asked Bart if he would just take them. Here are some of the results. Pretty impressive, I'd say. He hasn't done Kelsey, since she hasn't had her birthday yet...

Number 5 and I'm Still Alive!

Yes, folks, we are expecting baby number 5! It has been a very difficult roller coaster ride these last 17 weeks, but we have held on and are coming out on top! Sometime I will write a longer blog about it, but for now, we are grateful for so many hands that have blessed our lives and for the continuous prayers which have helped me pull through. We are excited for September to arrive!

Cutie Pie Kelsey

Kelsey is such a character! She keeps us laughing with her antics. She is at such a fun stage and we love her being part of our family!
Ready for school! Anytime anyone puts on shoes, Kelsey runs to find her shoes and says "too", as in she wants to go too. This day she put on Sadie's backpack to walk the older kids to the bus.

Kelsey with her loin cloth.... she had tried, once again, to put her own shirt on.

We had a girls night while the boys were at a baseball game. Love those pretty nails!

Comforter

Here is Cole with his comforter that my Mom made for him as a gift for his 8th birthday. She has made one for each grandchild as they get baptized... to remind them of the Holy Ghost and how he can be a "Comforter" in their life. I think we counted this is the 24th comforter she's made, with two more in progress. She is amazing! SO much love is put into each comforter. We know Cole will treasure this gift always. Thanks, Mom.

Cole's Baptism

Last Saturday, Cole was baptized. It was an incredible evening. We were so blessed to have family in town and to have friends travel far distances to support us. It couldn't have been a better experience. Cole was so happy to have his special day arrive. The baptism service was beautiful. Both Grandpas spoke and did great. The Spirit was so strong. We are so proud of Cole and the decision that he made to follow Christ! We love you, Cole!

Happy Easter!

Happy Eggs and Baskets!

Once again, thanks to a fabulous friend and some family, the kids had a wonderful Easter! We are so grateful for those taking care of us, especially the kids.

Waiting for her turn to color eggs.

Happy 4th, Jayda!!!

Jayda has been counting down to her birthday for weeks! She was super excited to turn 4 and was especially happy that her special day fell on Easter this year. Jayda had a great day! She was sung to in Primary, loved her presents (especially her Sleeping Beauty doll), was excited to make pizza for dinner and couldn't wait to eat her princess cake and party cake ice cream. Jayda is such fun, always smiling and has been an enormous help the past couple of months. We love our sweet Jayda!

Some Pics!

We had a fun visit from my sister, Rebekah! She took great care of us and had lots of fun with my parents and the kiddos! Thanks for coming!
Quiet time for Grandma and Kelsey...sweet to watch.

Putting together a puzzle of a cow. The girls thought it was super funny.
