Happy 7th Birthday, Jayda!

Wow, we love this girl! Jay is getting so big and is such a great helper! She keeps our family smiling! She loves to ready, do math, loves gymnastics and likes to help in the kitchen. Jayda had a great birthday and was able to go to a trampoline park with some of her friends. Such a fun day!

Visit!

My sister, Carissa, and some of her family came for a visit. They were pooped by the end of their visit with all the walking they did! :) We did some egg decorating for Easter and loved having them here! My kids thought it was super fun to have cousins here! (Cole had just had his eyes dilated...that is why he is wearing those awesome shades)

Capitol Tour

After 8 years, we finally did the U.S. Capitol Tour. It was amazing! Our tour guide was a little quirky, but knowledgable. We just took the three older kids and they loved it. So beautiful and it made me feel so patriotic!

Advancing in Scouting

Cole worked really hard and passed everything off to move on from Webelos and also received his Arrow of Light. Most of my pictures were blurry, but they had Cole walk from one side of the beam to the other, as a symbol of moving forward and doing a changing of the shirt. The men need some practice on putting on the warrior paint. hehe SO proud of you, Cole!

D.C. Temple

We love the D.C. Temple. We took our friend, Jodi, there while she was visiting from UT. They had some really neat new displays and things for the kids to do. They have a replica of the Temple so you can see what it looks like inside. Gorgeous!

Park Fun

We love going to the many parks around here. We got lucky and had Bart around to go with us a couple of times! We are loving the Spring weather!

Happy 11th Birthday, Cole!!

We love this boy SO much! He had a great birthday! Bart took Cole and a couple friends to see the Wizards play, which was super fun. I can't believe that Cole is 11! He is such a good boy and is such a great help with Bart gone so much. We are so grateful he is part of our family!

Medieval Times

We went with a huge group of friends to Medieval Times. They do dinner/lunch and a show. Everyone is in costume. They have amazing horses and some super fun actors that play the King, Princess and several knights. The knights do hand to hand combat using different weapons, jousting, and several contests to see who is the winner. You eat with your hands and cheer your knight on. It was SUCH fun!
