Air Show
Bart took Cole to the Air Show yesterday at Andrew's Air Force Base. What a great Dad! They saw the Blue Angels perform as well as other air shows. They had the best time! Cole especially loved seeing all the planes and helicopters and watching them fly. They were always right above their heads and both Bart and Cole jumped more than once as they flew so close. We lathered Cole with sun screen but missed Bart and he paid for it! He got fried! It only takes once at the beginning of the summer, right?!

My Dad is the kid of guy who likes to go on the "unauthorized tour." Where you wander to the places you shouldn't go. One time he took the scouts to the air show and there was a stealth bomber. There were guards stationed under the wings with guns and a rope around the outside. Dad started towards the plane and asked the attendant if those guards are for show. The attendant said, "No sir, and they shoot to kill. Please step back."
One of the only times I saw him listen.
