This past long weekend, we had a great time together as a family. Since it was the last weekend before school started, we told Cole that he could choose several fun things to do as a family and we did ALL of them... eating at McDonald's, miniature golfing, swimming (the kids were especially excited to show Bart what they had learned in swimming lessons), he went to the driving range with Bart, went to the mall to play at their playland, had Chinese so he could use chopsticks, played outside, went shopping and played lots of Wii. Needless to say, by the end of Monday, we were tuckered out.

Whoa, that is a lot of activity. Way to have the energy for it all. Glad Cole had a last hoorah. Be sure to show him things like this if he ever says you never do anything for him. Cool new look to the blog, too.
You are super mom! What a fun idea! I can't believe Cole's in 1st grade...but I love that the cleft in his chin stays right where it always was, because it makes it easy to remember him as a baby and keeps that time gap seeming smaller. Does that make sense? :) It's just what I was thinking of looking at him on the doorstep...Love you!
