I know I'm writing this the day after, but better late than never!
Yesterday at church, Cole sung his little heart out in Sacrament Meeting... "Mother, tell me the story that I love to hear..." He looked right at me the whole song. Of course, I couldn't hold back the tears. He is such a sweet boy and I love being his Mom. The kids made cards for me, each tracing their little hands. I will treasure those cards. Instead of wishing, hoping, and laying hints, I decided that I would just tell Bart what I wanted for Mother's Day. He is great listener because I got some fabulous gifts. What a sweetie! Mostly I loved that he was the master of the grill for dinner, so I didn't have to make it or clean it up. The steaks and pineapple were divine! Thanks, sweetheart.
I love my Mom so much. I was SO grateful to have my parents so close for the past 18 months and my relationship with both of them really deepened. Over the years I've become more and more grateful for my mom's love, support, talents, spirit, testimony, creativity and patience. She is the most amazing woman and I'm thankful she is mine! She has overcome so much and continues each day to be happy, regardless of what life dishes out. She is perfection personified. I hope to be like her someday
My Mother-in-Law is simply wonderful, raising an incredible son (she passed many of wonderful qualities onto Bart) and willingly embraced me into her family. I love how she loves our kids. She also has fabulous daughters that have become great friends of mine.
My sisters are amazing women! They have so many awesome talents and qualities. I love that when we get together we can giggle like kids. They are each an inspiration to me. My brothers have each married incredible women, so I'm blessed to have 4 other sisters, and I love each of them.
I have many friends, both near and far, that continue to amaze me with their friendships. I'm so lucky to have them bless my life.
