Conquered!

It's official! We have 2 kids able to ride 2-wheelers!! We found the trick when trying to help Cole get rid of his training wheels. If a child can master a two-wheeled scooter, they can master riding a bike without training wheels. Sadie was on the bike for less than 5 minutes before she had it conquered! We are SO proud of her! Love this girl!!

Kelsey Jane

We hit a big milestone with Kelsey yesterday. It was her first day of nursery at church! Wa-hoo!! I've been counting down since she has been running me ragged during the last 2 hours of church for months now. Bart and I took her into nursery, put her down and she ran off without looking back. Bart and I looked at each other, turned around and quickly walked out. She did great! I think it was fun for both her and Jayda to have each other in there. They get to be together for a month until Jayda heads to Sunbeams Jan. 1. Kelsey is so happy and such fun! We love this girl!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving break! My parents came for dinner and we had some friends come into town for a few days. Throw in a trip to a great park, eating lots of yummy food, playing football and cutting down our Christmas tree and you've got a fun packed weekend! Thanks for coming, Tingeys!

Our gorgeous, full (although a little short) Christmas tree!! Love it!

Thanksgiving Play!

When Cole was in Kindergarten, he participated in a Thanksgiving play at school. He was an Indian and did a great job! This year was Sadie's turn. She has really been looking forward to it, especially after seeing Cole do it. Sadie got to be a pilgrim and did a wonderful job performing her memorized parts! (Sorry the pictures are so dark)

2nd Tooth Gone!

Our sweet Sadie has the smallest mouth and I am already wondering where all her permanent teeth are going to go. The experience she had losing her first tooth was not a good one. Her permanent tooth came in behind the one that hadn't fallen out yet. Bart ended up pulling the tooth out with pliers. For this second one...same thing. The tooth was coming in before the other one had fallen out. But, I told her to wiggle her baby tooth like crazy and maybe we could skip the pulling of the tooth. Sadie has been diligent about wiggling her tooth. Tonight, I brushed her teeth. When she spit in the sink there was blood. I expected it, since the tooth was so loose. She freaked, so I quickly rinsed the sink. She asked me to check her tooth one more time before she went to bed.... and it wasn't there! haha It totally went down the sink. Sadie started crying and I quickly assured her that we could write a note to the tooth fairy and she would still get a little something. We are glad tooth #2 is gone!

Jayda is so good about taking Kelsey for rides on the scooter. Kelsey can now do the scooter by herself....

Picture Time!

We had our family pictures taken. While the photographer worked with one kid, Bart was taking pictures of another... just to keep up on his skills. :) Here are some of Bart's pictures. We anxiously await the pictures our photographer took!

Pictures

I LOVE having my parents so close! They stopped in for a quick visit this week and when I came down the stairs, this is what I saw.... so cute...

Bart running through the snow to get the mail! What?! Snow in October?!

Cutie Jayda

Every time Bart walks in the door, Kelsey is stuck to him like glue. She is a Daddy's girl for sure!

Play dough fun!
