Firsts for Jayda

We put Jayda in her saucer today. She LOVED it! When she figured out she could make the bead-filled cylinder spin, she was giggling. It was fun to watch. She's been grabbing her toes for awhile, but I thought this was a cute picture. Also, today she rolled from her back to her tummy by herself! Pretty fun stuff for a baby turning 5 months old tomorrow! We love you, Jayda!

Fun Week

We did a couple of fun things this week. We had a field trip with friends to a park, which the kids loved playing at. It was incredibly hot and made me wish for fall weather. Friday, we went with our friends, the Ferrels, to a mall to play at their playland area. It happened that there was a drummer that came to make music with his tall drum and he also let the kids play it. Then, "Mr. Knick Knack" showed up. He is this guy that comes on Fridays with his guitar and plays for the kids and leads them in singing songs. Cole, Sadie and Berkeley loved playing the drum and dancing to the guitar music.

Visit to Pittsburgh

We went to visit my parents on their mission in Pittsburgh for the long weekend. We had the best time! The kids especially enjoyed seeing their grandparents after a five month break.

The Kids

Not to much has been happening the last few weeks. Bart enjoyed a trip to CA. He was able to see lots of friends and loved ones, which is always fun. Mostly we are just enjoying the last of summer and looking forward to the joys of fall!

S'Mores

Tonight for FHE treat, we did indoor s'mores in the oven. The kids totally loved them, even though they got messy!

Jayda, is looking so happy and cute in this picture, even though she got 4 shots today for her 4 month appointment. She is such a trooper (so is her Daddy, who held her and looked into her eyes and talked to her as the needles were inserted)! She weighed in at 16 1/2 lbs and was 26 inches long. You can't help but smile when she grins at you. We are blessed to have all 3 of these wonderful kids in our home!

Sesame Place, Part Two

Back in June, we bought 2 for 1 passes to Sesame Street Place in PA. We didn't have to use the two days consecutively, so we went again yesterday. What a wonderful day! The weather was gorgeous and everyone had a super great time. That place is such fun!
